Career Development Facilitators (CDFs) work as highly trained and skilled professionals and paraprofessionals in diverse settings. They have completed the Career Development Training Institute's 120 hour training curriculum and been certified through The Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. (CCE).
To become fully certified, a CDF must verify that she or he has met experiential and educational requirements. Further, the CDF must formally agree to abide by a Code of Ethics and consult regularly with a CCE approved counselor or supervisor. The CDF training program has been endorsed by the National Career Development Association, the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals, the American Counseling Association, the National Board for Certified Counselors, and the National Employment Counselors Association.
